PLAYERS WANTED...including beginners and juniors!!

WKC is looking for players of all abilities to join us for the 2008/09 season. If you are new to Korfball or indeed this is the first time you are reading about the sport then we would love to meet you. If you have recently left university and are looking for a local team to join then you are already half way there. If you are returning to the sport after a long time out then again we'd love to hear from you. Even if you are looking to make new friends and spend a couple of hours a week playing this crazy sport then please take some time to look around the website, contact us and then come and join us on Tuesday evenings. What's Korfball?

Korfball is a dynamic ball-handling sport played by two teams of eight players, four male and four female, and is unique in providing equal opportunities for all. It is exhilarating to play, great fun to watch and the basic rules are simple to grasp.

Where is it happening?

WKC train on Tuesday's at Abbeylands Leisure Centre. Training commences at 8pm (meet at 7.45pm for warm up). Please note that we have stopped training for the summer and will resume pre-season training in late August. If you are interested in joining the club contact a committee member First two sessions are FREE!
