Training sessions are on Tuesday nights, 7:45pm to 9:00pm.
Addlestone Leisure Centre , Jubilee High School, School Lane, Addlestone, Surrey, KT15 1TD.

If you are reasonably good at either netball or basketball, the chances are you'll be good at korfball, at least you will be once you pick up the tactics. Korfball is a very welcoming sport for beginners, especially at Woking where we don't take ourselves too seriously. There are several teams that play every week, so everyone gets a game. Korfball also has the natural advantage for social life a wide age range and, of course, no other team sport features both men and women. Also there are opportunities to play abroad in places like Holland and Belgium on the annual club tour. The season lasts from September to May.

Woking train outside Woking itself in Abbeyfit at Jubilee High School, not far from Chertsey. Leave the M25 as if heading to Thorpe Park, if travelling clockwise (north) turn left upon leaving the motorway, if travelling south then turn right. At the next roundabout turn left, follow this road to a smaller roundabout and again take the first exit. Upon reaching the mini-roundabout stay left and cross over the M25. Shortly ahead, just after a zebra crossing, turn left into School Lane and take the third left into the school/sports centre car park. See the maps page for more visual info.

Public transport options are limited, although trains from London Waterloo arrive at Addlestone station, which is approximately 15 minutes walk from the venue. In many cases it will be possible to arrange lifts from surrounding areas when required.

You can get in contact with us through any of the details on the committee page, Doug Inwood (07786 653101 / chair@wokingkorfball.co.uk) or Vicki Samuels (07941 936153 / treasurer@wokingkorfball.co.uk). We're looking to expand the club and new players of any age or standard are very welcome.
